Ancient Greeks believed topaz gave them strength and Europeans during 1300-1600 believed topaz had the power to break magic spells and calm anger. Today, many people associate topaz with good health, love, and wealth.

Topaz is often an icy blue but comes in many other colors such as pink, orange, and yellow.

The name for imperial topaz originated in Russia during the 1900's and the mine was named to honor the Russian czar.

Wash in warm soapy water. Can use a soft bristled tooth brush to clean.
