Sunstone

Found primarily in Oregon, Sunstone like Moonstone is a variety of orthoclase feldspar.  The lively glitter called aventurescence is a sparkly and metallic-looking luster caused by copper inclusions most often called schiller.

While red is the most sought after Sunstone color, it can be found in green, yellow, shades of pinkish-red, and orangish-red.  Bi color and tri color Sunstones that include red and green are most valuable.
